Realising Ambitions and Developing Skills

Curriculum
For a clearer picture of what learning at R.A.D.S looks like, visit our Curriculum page. It explains what we deliver and why, and it shows how our vocational, small-group and 1:1 provision stays hands-on, experiential, inclusive, and deliberately builds metacognitive skills alongside practical competence.

Quality Assurance
If you’d like a closer look at how we keep things safe, consistent, and high quality, head over to our Quality Assurance page. There, we explain how R.A.D.S meets (and often goes beyond) the quality assurance expectations for alternative provision in England.
About Us
RADS is a vocational skills provider delivering alternative provision through hands-on, industry-linked learning. Our programme blends creative skills, trade-based projects, STEM and practical life/work skills — learning that makes sense to young people because it’s real, active, and connected to future careers.
We work in a semi-structured way: sessions have clear purpose, routines and expectations, while modules are chosen around the student’s interests and strengths. We shape the day to what helps that young person stay regulated, engaged and productive, without losing focus on progress. At our core, RADS is a stepping stone to social mobility — helping learners build confidence, competence and employability through meaningful vocational experiences.
